For the 2023-2024 school year, The Science Penguin offers school year subscriptions for the grade-level bundles. To better meet the needs of our schools, we no longer offer transferable licenses on individual items. Subscriptions run through June 30, 2024. Materials may NOT be used without an active subscription.

Everything You Need for Effective Science Teaching

  • Phenomena-based Science Units

    Use the investigations, videos, and text provided to answer a question about a science topic. You will use the 5E Model to support claims with evidence and reasoning, design models, engineer solutions, and build understanding.

  • Interactive Science Notebook

    Print the templates and use our sample photos to build phenomenal science notebooks.

  • Digital Inquiry

    Digital Inquiry guides students through learning new information about a high-interest topic, responding to new information, and constructing a written response.

    In these student-centered activities, students will learn, review, and practice.

  • Assessments

    Check for understanding using the unit quizzes. Each quiz has 10 multiple-choice questions and 1 short constructed response.

We started school subscriptions to better support the needs of teachers, curriculum coordinators, and administrators. This subscription renews yearly to continue the use of materials.

Individual teachers purchasing for their personal use do not need yearly renewal. It's a one-time purchase or can be purchased over 6 monthly payments.
